Overview, insight and the right choices

Since the first simple process control systems were introduced to the Norwegian food industry, automation has been a priority in Skala. Through decades we have built up an automation environment with unique expertise in the management of food processes. Our automation specialists usually work in teams with our process specialists, and we see that the best solutions are made in this symbiosis.

We constantly see how important the interaction between the operator and the control system is to ensure that that the right choices are made. When developing our own interface, we are particularly concerned that the system presents the most relevant information depending on the operating situation, so that the operator can take the best possible choices. The most important parametres is uptime, reduced product waste, minimized consumption of energy and service media - and of course the best possible hygiene and product quality.
